Brian Charles Lara was born on May 2 1969 at Santa Cruz; Trinidad and Tobago is a former International Cricket player of West Indies. Lara is all time considered as the greatest batsmen. He bagged many test batting rankings in many occasions and also gained many cricket records in which some are non breakable. He has hold the record of highest individual scorer for first class cricket by scoring 501, not out for Warwickshire opposite Durham at the Edgbaston in the year 1994.


Lara was born as 10th son among 11 children. The father of Lara is Bunty and his one of the elder sisters Agnes Cyrus has joined him the local Harvard Coaching Clinic in the age of six for attending Sunday sessions. Lara in that manner has developed very soon in the batting with techniques. Lara in the age of 15 played his first under 19 youth tournament along West Indies.

Lara has scored a record score of 498 runs and also breaked the previous score of Carl Hooper (480) in the year 1987 which is a break through for him. He has done captaincy for the matched won in Trinidad and Tobago.

  In 1988 January, Lara has entered into the first class for Trinidad and Tobago against Leeward Island in Stripe Cup.  He has captained for the West Indies team for Bicentennial Youth World Cup against in Australia in which the West Indies reached semi finals.

. Lara along with many world records also hold the record of highest individual scorer in the test innings by scoring 400 not out opposite England in 2004 at Antigua. The one and only batsman to score a century, a double century, a triple century, a quadruple century and also a quintuple century is Lara during first class games. Lara also bagged a test record of scoring the highest number of runs in one over, i.e. when he has scored 28 runs in an over in the bowling of Robin Peterson of South Africa during the year 2003
